Another thing regarding NPC's. Once you kill them and leave the area they will instantly respawn, the NPCRespawnMultiplier is useless.
They're just little immersion breaking issues really, still playable.
you don't need to cheat, the games easy enough solo but meh.
The main thing As a solo player would be to use the Mod Solo or co-op boss health as the health pools of bosses are made for multiple players.
I play solo and I use the co-op boss health mod as I found the Solo boss mod too easy.
I got a good 200 hours before I got bored.
There's very little in the game that you can't do by yourself, but I tried a solo sever and practically died of boredom. It felt like a dead world.
The other players can't interfere with your stuff, loot your body, or interact with your thralls. But they can be very handy if you are being perused by a bad guy that's too tough, and there is someone's base close by, run to it and the guarding thralls will all come to your defense.
I've found places where I could defeat boss characters and get legendary weapons just by getting them to follow me to a large group of Thales left by another player.
It's using a strategy like this that makes the game fun. You have to learn to play all the angles.
Easy and balanced are two different concepts.
i wouldnt call that cheating, since the purpose of tweaking settings is to match different play styles. not everyone can afford the same amount of time for playing, and not everyone may care about grinding a lot access each "stepping stone" to explore "the next in-game thing" or event.
its cheating when your are competing against others, or when you have an unfair advantage, also against others. the only one that may lose something when cheating playing solo, is the "cheater".
i dont think most people will share the same definition about "balanced gaming experience", because some may like hard ganes, and others may not even care about the challenges.
imo, the "normal settings" for this game work well enough for most players with little experience playing video games. but for those who have never played a game before, or that have played only non-challenging games, maybe changing everything to extremely easy could help them become familiar with all the options, without becoming frustrated of losing too frequently from their lack of gaming and analytical skills.
