You start off naked in a desert, have to collect materials, build stuff, weapons, buildings, crafting stations, fight off animals, npcs and monsters, until you're the king in your mighty castle built by your own hand.
Oh and its open world pvp.. and clans. Everything you build is destructible, either by NPCs or by other players. It has siege engine and explosives too.
Official servers don't wipe (but they have decay, so if you stay logged off for too long, two weeks usually; things you built will go away. Character stays.)
Private servers anything goes in terms of server settings and mods.
Very well said.
Semantics.....conan has like 0 to 40ish players on any server at once and anything above 10 is really not common except for the period after large updates ( like this one....and it has always subsided before ).
Conan is the opposite.
It's simply a survival crafting game that's realy close to ARK, but with naked men and women instead of pooping dino.
Black Desert Online use a predatory monetisation system, everythings in Conan Exiles pass and shop are cosmetic. There is nothing predatory in this game if you have more willpower than a teenager.
You can buy the next Pass if you finish this one, you will be able to get ALL pass by buy a single one.
Plus it's only cosmetic, nothing change if you don't get them. I can easily wreak any guy who brough everything in the shop and the pass, contrary to a game with realy predatory monetisation that actualy hinder your gameplay experiance if you don't pay.
It's not massively MP but it is a RPG, that's without question. MRPG
