Can't build near a starmetal node.

still a flaw when you have something higher tier than orbs and cant get the star metal... simply by placing an explosive.

Try pressing middle mouse button when trying to place it.

you have to use 4-5 grease orbs tossed on the node then finish with one fire orb to crack the nodes. I haven't been able to use explosive jars since 32 went live.

I usually place a triavgle foundation as close to the node as I can first, then toos the orbs, using left mouse button

Middle mouse button is default for auto a line it lets you place items like jars, rugs and explosives on the ground.

That middle mouse button will only work in areas of the game that allow you to blace building structures, this meteor fell in a zoned area that doesn't allow ANY building material to be placed. orbs is the only option.

I am just suggesting to the devs or the team they are paying to fix the game that they need to allow explosives to be placed anywhere, its a pvp item and its also usable vs mosnsters ect. should be able to place explosives in npc towns to clear buildings/beds/fighters if I wish too.

You can place foundation pieces near the meteorites, at least along the mountain ridge. Don't know about the region of Eyelet Lake and north of it.

Indeed, but not in the areas where like this picture displays "Buildings not allowed" (period)

Yeah down that cliff to the left side should be that ogre camp there that blocks building if I'm correct. I had some starmetal that I could not get way back when explosive jars dropped from npcs so i used those. There are a lot of no build zones that starmetal can drop near that prevent you from suing jars to blow them up. Not to mention anyone base. This is one of the reasons that makes orbs 10x better to use.

place 1-2 jars, aggro all thralls in Set city, run for jar :D = torn limbs and bodies flying all over :D
