EXILED LANDS:
Purified Legion Helm
Purified Legion Chest, Champion's Chestguard or Voidforged Dragonbone Ribs (Ribs have slightly higher AC)
Champions Leggings
Godbreaker Mits
Hyperborian Slaver boots
SIPTAH:
Aspect of the Wolf
Voidforged Dragonbone Ribs
Serpentman Gloves (YES they are light but the damage bonus is unbeatable)
Hyperborian slaver Boots and Pants
All hyperborian gear can be subbed for Pictish Warchief or Guardian armor if you have the DLC.
Your thrall will not benefit from +stamina, +follower damage, and +carrying capacity armor and will receive little benefit from +heath. That leaves +str and +agi armor.
The Voidforge dragonbone chest piece is great if you have been farming dragon bones and have a strength based follower. The Hyperborean Slaver is a cheap non-DLC strength set for the rest of the pieces. The Stygian Soldier set is the non-DLC set for agility damage.
The Garrison Armorer Bench will make your armor cost half. It is the only T3 crafting station I bother with, but is a must have.
how do you get Voidforge dragonbone?
On Siptah you need to get enough Fragment of power to redeem at the tower and hoping to get the Scroll to unlock the armor.
