hoarfrost hatchet

i made one of these at my altar to yimir and .....nothing,,i tried chopping up bodies and trees and have yet to get a single ice. are the altars wacked out at the moment or something because i also read i should be getting manifestations of zeal for crafting the hatchets and .....nothing. am i just wasting my time trying to figure this out so i can upgrade the altar to lvl 2???

did you chop the body till it disappeared?

Its working correctly in the dev kit. To clarify, tree's don't work (even though its a hatchet). You must target bodies.

So my question remains, any mods?

You don't get zeals from crafting religious weapons any more, it's changed to prevent players crafting gods just by making tons of cheap and easy weapons. Hoarfrost has always been a bit glitchy weapon, try crouching when harvesting bodies - altho I'm not sure can you even crouch and hit anymore after all the animation changes - haven't actually tried that myself for a while.
