Cave near Deathwhisper ruins?

There is a cave with skeletons and a door, but cant open the door? What am I missing?

They drop what you need the get past the door. Been a while since i did that one, so do not recall the item.

hmm weird never saw an item, checked my inventory after using the cleaver on the big one

I have killed them several times. I have not found anything, either.

The name of the cave is Executioners Entrance

As yet I have never been able to access that door ... nor the far door where you learn Cartography. No skeleton, spider nor Skeleton boss dropped anything in the Death whisperer ruins tunnels regardless what tool I used. I doubt that that door does anything.

The door wouldnt open for me, but there were two chests in the adjacent room. One had 17 silver coins and the other had 3 gold bars.

Never got a drop from those skeletons although that does look like a door.
As paul.rc said, I agree it's probably a future dungeon.

I did get some sweet silver and gold out of those nearby chests.
I also got a mountable serpent man skeleton head off the demon there

There is a main entrance and there is the Executioner's Entrance a bit to the east.
Cave attached to Executioner's Entrance has spiders and brimstone.

Not all doors lead somewhere.

I too could not open the door but the big skeleton dropped a Fragment of Power.
