thick leather
I read that crocodile skins give thick leather but I'm just getting regular leather. Is this an issue with some mod I'm using or do I need to find a different animal to murder?

I think they patched that out, crocdiles are crazy easy to kill I just get reptile hide when I skin it that turns to leather. But cosnidering you can just circle it with a stone axe to kill them it was kind Op they dropped medium hide...

I was thinking that. So I gotta find new things to murder. D= I want to have a decent bow before a purge of bat demons destroy everything I've built (playing single player to relax). Thanks for the info

The wiki is very out of date. If you'd like a lot of current information, just horse on YouTube has a good range of vids.

Apparently bears also drop it, but I have yet to meet one!

I found a bear by scartalon ridgeline. Pretty easy to kill, but it did almmost 1 shot me

Bears are very populous in the north near mounds of the dead
