First off, do NOT dismantle a floor piece. There's no need for it. Say you have a square sandstone foundation and you built a stonebrick foundation. Just aim the camera on the floor piece in question and click on it. The game will automatically replace the sandstone with the stonebrick, and everything around it, such as tables, stations, carpets, etc.......will remain in place.
omg really....thanks so much I will have to try this
Oh, I know. I remember ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on a server back in the day that I would never upgrade my stuff, because I just couldn't see myself replacing everything. The admins laughed at me, explained how to upgrade, and my mind was put at ease.......and ecstatic. lol
