Climbing boots from Mountaineer DO NOT WORK

I am wear the boots and gloves to try to climb to black ice and I start to climb and then fall, over and over and over again. I got these to overcome this and THEY DONT WORK!!!

Are you effected by frostbite (due to being really cold?)
You can not climb if you have frostbite (no matter what gear your using)

The climbing boots and gloves just mean you use very little stamina to climb, but they do not work if you have frostbite

Oh,maybe that was it. How do people learn these things without being frustrated beyond belief?

Seriously been wondering that myself Barbs, so theres no way to get better cold resistance so you can climb?

Check the forums and redit. I mean just be glad were not in the olden days when stealfire was a kept secret so you could have steel while your neighbors were raging going "I got coal, I got iron why can't I make steel!?"

Yep, had to find the hard way or read reddit
Frostbite = No climbing
Sandstorm mask = Protection from any gas
Map room = Ten teleport locations (make the map feel a lot smaller)
And that huge quest to find a safe way to remove your bracelet....your going to hate how that ends

There is a perk that gives you better weather resistance. Also drinks you can make that will warm you, do not drink water as that will cool you down even more.

Eating Chili (desert style) and downing a few Mulled Brew.....That does not sounds safe to walk after, let alone climb a cliff after!

Conan....The only game where you can only climb dangerous ice cliffs while drunk (so you are warm) Yep, that feels about right!
