Full purge meter... now what?... purge wont trigger...
My friends and I have a private server, we adjusted the purge settings after the patch hit and we rebooted the server. We are all in a clan, and we set the purge triggers at the lowest activity level, set the difficulty at 1, and maxed out the frequency meter. Our purge bar was full last night for about 3 or 4 hours worth of play and we did not get any purge or warning. It just seems our purge bar is full and no purge is happening! We have been waiting to see what this is gonna be like.

In the server settings, everything is enabled, and I dont have any times scheduled, and I set for a minimum of 2 players on the server for the purge (we had 5 online for 3 or 4 hours last night). We cannot get a purge to trigger.

What is going on? Can someone explain the depth/mechanics or what its gonna take to get a purge to trigger?

To clarify, we are on a private server, 5 players, 1 clan. No one else.

in purge it say just because its full you might not get hit.
I was also wondering.
go to news scroll down passed the hot fix update, it explains it all.
I was surprised also.

Nothing has happened. What do we need to do for it to trigger? Do we need to set a schedule "Prime Time" or something in the panel or can we just leave it to trigger naturally? WTF why can't we get a definitive answer. I've read all the patch notes etc, and all I can read are vague descriptions of what the purge/is or does. Can we get some clarity please about the different settings and when/how the purge triggers?

Also do we get a warning when its about to happen? I just logged in to an empty purge meter after going to work... this morning it was full. So did maybe my starting base on the other end of the map get attacked? What is going on....

When purge meter if filed - Purge is possible (not guaranteed) size of base and amount / quality of crafting station effect it. When meter if full occasionally you will hear horn with is indicating purge is traveling , if actually purge Start's you will be notified about it with warning x time to purge (depending on you server setting) from notification you are unable to build until end of it.

my purge meter is full for 24hr at the moment still no attack..what is the point of a time meter when it doesnt count time at all...:steammocking::steamfacepalm:

Its not time meter , speed of with you file it depending on you base size / quality (what and how many crafting station) and you killing mobs and NPC.

What number of purge for day you have seat on you server?

Personal playing in SP with purge seat at 6 with 10 for day and getting one between 3-5h of play ...

We played all night, and still have not had a purge, we only have one base as we cleared out the rest of the map of our remnants. Purge meter was full for 7 hours, then went to 0 out of no where. No purge.... Changed the settings to 5 purges a day in a 7 hour window... nothing....

I am having the same problem! Before the last patch we were getting purges frequently, was working great! Now no matter what settings I use no purge triggers! We've had 2 or 3 days of the meter being full and no purge!!!

Purge is sdly broken. I got yesterday the achievment for the Purge without fighting one single mob. I got a message on my screen like "Purge will attack in 10 minutes" and after not even 10 seconds I got the next message like "You survived a purge" .... wtf ?

Your purge id say is blocked by land claim when your purge wont go off and meters full press ~ 2 times itll open and window that will tell you if it is blocked.It should say purge spawn blocked by landclaim or sometime like that ,some shrines were blocking it before dono about now.

schedule it happen when you play or set to max 24 per day.

Same issue for me. I had one purge trigger and even though purge meter is full again for three days now, nothing since.

I tried Hexter's suggestion but had nothing there about blocked by land claim.

Very frustrating for SP, as I enjoyed the one and only purge I defended against. I would like to know what if anything can be done to make it trigger correctly.

I've found in SP, that to get the purge to actually trigger, I need to go away from any of my bases/outposts for a while. When I return, the purge will typically trigger right away or soon after.

Hi.

The full purge meter only means that the Purge is ready and can trigger you but to a randomly time.

If you will start the Purge for you now, you can do it with the Admin console.

1) get Admin rights
2) Open the console
3) write: startplayerpurge

The Purge will Attack you immediately.
