You'll see the the "savings" most at the.... "Dragonbreath"? (that red power).. which can drop its requirement from 75 "Steelfire" to about 45 or less with a good thrall...
And of course, the reqs for Steelfire itself as well.
Basic alchemist substance will also drop from 2,2,1 to 1,1,1, not as much, but ichor is just annoying to farm.
My suggestion:
If you play on a server, go with precision, let it work "overnight".
If you play SP / local, build both and only use the precision one for the "expesive" dragonbreath (not ingame, and i have the game not-english)
"Speed" alchemy bench has 0% resource reduction cost, so while you will make stuff quicker, the cost will be higher than on previous-tier improved alchemy bench. In general, it is better to go with resource-saving T3 benches, and in some cases even T2 (improved) will be sufficient (for example you don't need T3 cauldron on PvE/PvE-C servers because you will not be producing dragon-powder in industrial quantities, and that's the only place where you will really benefit from resource savings over T2 improved cauldron).
I think the only crafting bench that would save you both time and resource is Heat-efficient furnace. Even with increased coal consumption, you still produce (smelt) more resources per unit of coal than "economical" smelting stations (Kiln and Fuel-Efficient Furnace)
