Best weapons?

Just wondering what the best weapons that you can craft? i like everything so personal preference isnt a problem.

The bloodletter war axe and bloodletter hammer from the blood and sands dlc

Exluding DLC considerations:
Dragonbone axe or Telith's Lament long sword (or Telith's Sorrow great sword).
Getting the dragonbone recipies unlocked is a bit problematic since you'll have to survive through the Arena to get to the stone to learn it. You don't have to kill the bone dragon to learn it. But killing any other dragon will yield dragon bones and horns. Enough to make your axe. Still, I'm sure dragon bone weapons are level locked. The same with Telith's Swords.
Telith's Swords can only be unlocked once you unlock starmetal at level 55, but you'll have to face off with Tyros the Deathbringer to get his heart to make one of them. Those swords require hardened steel.
With an advanced weapons damage applied they're damned deadly, but the mod also reduces their durability so you'll have to repair them more often.

Or you can build a lift/elevator above the sinkhole and just use that.

For me it's the Dragon Bone Ax.

To get the recipes build an elevator down into the arena, you can get the recipes without any combat by running to the vertical stone at one side of the arena.

Then back to the elevator and back up to the top.

Don't bother to kill the dragon, if you are solo it takes forever.

I kill the young dragons in the south end of the unnamed city for bone and horns. you can do that solo with poison arrows, and an ax.

Spear and Pikes break half the game rn, so if you are playing Single Player a Spear paired with named Thall runs over this game(except some* bosses)

That's what I normally do.
I forgot to mention that one other item required to make those swords (the handles) are locked at level 60.
