Trebuchet base placing problem

have tried clear ceilings
have tried clear foundations
have moved further away
have tried raising up or down
have tried restarting server

always
must be attached to an appropriate slot in an existing building

what are they talking about appropriate slot?

You need to place the siege foundation 1st then the base goes on top.
Siege Foundation is the very 1st part, then base.

I have a terbuchet problem as well. It just disappeared after a while, just like many of my thralls. Is this some kind of feature in this game that things keep disappearing?

if you check the logs it will say lost stability.

Was thinking of "Base" literally as the lowest part. Did not see Siege Foundation.

ok I've placed the trebuchet foundation on several buildings made, then tried to place the trebuchet base on it but it always says "must be attached to an appropriate slot in an existing building please clarify what is the slot in an appropriate building and how do you find it so as to let the trebuchet snap into place ....I've only had it work on the ground with no problem so what do I have to do to get it to snap onto an existing building????? email me the exact procedure my email is [e-mail] ps I want it on my building, not on the ground where the enemy can get at it ok !!!! thank you for allowing me to comment!
