Can I get rid of the mini map thats been introduced?

It's a mod. Not a game feature. Refer to the mods on your game.

Its not a mod, it just appeared. I already have the mini map mod. Its another one bottom right hand corner. So shove the noob idea up ur arse

then its from a different mod, there is no official minimap

It is a mod. Vanilla Conan has no radar. Shift M or Shift T will usually bring up mod UI and you can remove the compass style radar. Our server has it as well but it is a mod.
