Thrall disappeared between single player sessions.

been playing single player, had a tier 3 fighter at level 15 vanish between sessions. He isn't showing up in my follower list anymore and isn't where I left him when i logged out. Does anyone know what causes them to despawn, or had this happen to them?

I've just taken some time off an sp game with hundreds of hours invested to play some online stuff with a mate. Logging back in a couple of days ago, checked a couple of my bases and at least 6 fighter thralls have disappeared, including 2 L20 Lians. I have heard it mentioned on FunCom forums, but not heard any reasons

[Thralls don't have to be fed, as they depend on a decay timer. If you do not log in in 15 days they will disappear as shown under Settings:Server Settings:Abandonment (private servers may be adjusted).]

@okruTGamer this is single player game non server. What used to be offline, there is no abandonment. In any case, I was only away for 6 days. It is a known issue apparently.

If you know the position of the thrall, you can try to focus on them. There is an intermittent issue with them falling through building parts and stopping on the terrain below. In some rare cases, they will sink into the ground. In the SP game, you can use the 'Ghost' admin feature to retrieve them in all cases. If they are not there, check the 0,0,0 admin teleport location. You will land on the ground below that point and will need to fly up to it. Be aware that the mobs in that location on the ground will immediately attack you.

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll give it a try, it's probably the most time i've invested in a single Conan run, so was not too chuffed, leveling those thralls was not a short endeavour and on of the Lians had hit the jackpot with his perks

I probably should've mentioned that the time between sessions was about an hour, and i have decay turned off because it's a single player world.

I'd seen it a couple of times on some older forums, but had never seen a reason for it. i was hoping maybe there was more info now or something.

I tried to look under where he was standing and couldn't find anything, and I didn't see anything at 0,0,0. i'm nit all that concerned about finding him anymore, I'm just curious to know what happened.

I have hundreds of thralls in my main base. The base is large enough that I can literally teleport around the base. I usually find missing thralls at 0,0,0 and the most I found there was about 50. I killed them all with poison gas arrows since it was too difficult to recover them one at a time since the spot is in the air. As for your thrall, if it fell all the way through the terrain, consider them lost forever. I have had some do that, but do not know how far the bottom of the map is below my base. At some point, you die if you go too far below the surface even with God mode turned on.

Any clue how long that fall would last?
SinglePlayer game here, my Dalinsia decided to dive in Sunken City dungeon, she got hammered below terrain on first encounter inside the underwater part.
I logged out, logged back in, spawned at the boat inside dungeon instance.
Follower was nowhere to be seen, but still on the list and on follow.
Logged out, logged back in, now outside at the harbour in Xel-Ha.
Same with the follower, nowhere about, still on the list and still "on follow".

Is she still falling to her death?
Why don't they go back to "Guard" after logging out now adays?
