this is the process.
you take your fingers, put on keyboard and type four words in search engine of yours:
conan exiles purified water
voila! magic happens...
purified water? but i just need a safe water to drink from thirst at a barely level 5, I have to make a glass flask to get a watered glass flask?
1. Gather crystals
2. Use your furnace to melt crystals into glass sheets. (and of course to make iron bars).
3. Have a "Casting Table" handy. You'll have to make one.
4. Take 15 iron bars to the "Casting Table" and make 1 Glass flask mold leaving it in the casting table.
5. Now take your glass plates from the furnace and place them into the Casting Table (where the glass flask mold is kept).
6. Making glass flasks is as simple as making the choice on your Casting Table Menu (usually the first choice). Click to make 1, then click to make the rest of them. (yeah, it's buggy).
7. Take the new glass flasks from the casting table into your inventory.
8. Go to the water and gaze upon the water at your feet (at least ankle high).
9. Open your inventory and select your glass flasks, then press F to use. (this will cause the glass flasks to fill with each press of the F key.)
10. Now take your filled glass flasks to your cooking oven, (make sure it has fuel to burn, such as wood, plant fiber, dry wood, oil, coal).
11. Once you place your filled glass flasks into your cooking oven inventory, select "purified water" (it'll look like a metal glass filled with water),
12. Turn the stove on.
13. Wait for it. In this process, the water filled glass flasks will be replaced with purified water glasses (which cannot be re-used once they're used)
NOTE: Filled Glass Flasks can be used, refilled and reused without losing any (but these are not purified water).
14. You can take your purified water into your inventory and place them on your skill bar for your use. Or you can place them in your inventory to use as needed. You can also leave multiple stacks of purified water in the stove (stacks of 50 per stack) which will be useful in crafting some recipes you will learn along your journeys.
Additional Note:
If you're in the frozen north and have empty glass flasks on hand, you can place glass flasks in a camp fire with 10 pieces of raw ice for each flask. The process will fill the glass flask with water.
and why you even assumed it is not safe? maybe it is not safe to walk the grass with bare feet too?
well i didn't know. I played many survival games, and common sense is that you have to cook water before you drink it, or you'll get parasitic illness. I thought that this game plays the same rule too at first.
You can learn new recipes by spending the feat points you get from every level up, you should see a "feats" tab on your menu.
Also, you can loot or interact with certain placeables on the world to learn recipes you couldn't by any other means =)
