where to find Gossamer near Sepermeru

Title says it all am in Sepermeru area and most the videos or guides show spiders are more out east of the unnamed city and don't really want to have to wander all the way out there to get some so is there a place closer to Sepermeru that has spiders or Gossamer caches?

Silver mine has all the spiders you'll need and then some.

Do you need Gossamer? Or do you need Silk?

If you need Silk, then try building a Dismantling bench. Sepermeru has a lot of chests, and they often have Relic Hunter armor, dismantling that will give you some Silk (as I recall).

Thanks had not built that yet and that is what I need is some silk as I have some of the outfits for my dancers so wanted to make then and this will help get rid of some of this useless outfits I been getting from there HA HA Thanks!!

If you're out on the other side of the map, the Blackhand camps sometimes have tents as loot, those break down into Silk too.

Named tanner in Artisan's Bench, drop in 10 fat grubs and get one piece of silk. You get 50 grubs over time with every compost-filled bin.

If you have a Map Room it is decent to warp to the Sinkhole, then go south to the spider canyon. Bring a sickle and mine all the egg cocoon deposits there. You'll have thousands of units of Silk after crafting.

working on that but still need some more Ichor and not even started on Demons blood yet as so far been striking out again the undead HA HA

It's worth the trip.

Use a sickle on cocoon nodes and a pick on the spider corpses for ichor.

Yeah, you get far more gossamer if you use a sickle so definitely do that. in the Exiled Lands there are several places to find gossamer and a few aren't too dangerous so you can start harvesting fairly early. If you don't want to go looking just search the internet and you'll find maps that point you to every location gossamer is found.

You can also use the sickle to get gossamer from some spiders after you kill them instead of smacking them with a pick for ichor. Certain types seem to have a much higher yield and change for gossamer than others.
