Armor Kits
What does everyone recommend for an armor modifier? Overall best consensus is what I'd love to see where you guys stand on the matter.

Plating? Flexibility? Reduction?

I usually go with T4 Armor Rating Thrall and the Weight Reduction mod when dealing with heavy armor.

For supplemental gear like Climbing Gloves/Shoes and the Sandstorm Mask a T4 Armor Weight Thrall is fine.

Since followers don't have weight limits you'd obviously swap out the Weight Reduction mod for something like Armor Plating.

I'm pretty much the same. For personal use armour I use a T4 maximum armour thrall then apply the weight reduction mod. For thrall armour I use the same armourer then apply bulk plating for the absolute maximum armour value.

And you guys prefer running around in heavy armor these days?

Back when I played last, heavy armor was a sin due to not being able to dodge roll.

If I'm not wrong the only thing affecting dodge now in encumbrance level, so agility is only useful to increase your natural armor and get the perks.

About the armor kits, I only really use the weight reduction on and heavy armor.
But to be fair, I never tried the flexibility one.

Yep, no matter what your stamina level, by default you can dodge roll 4 times before your stamina is exhausted. Encumberance effects how quickly your stamina starts to recharge and IIRC the recharge rate.

That being said, for PvP I'd be inclined to go medium armour instead of heavy because there are a few weapons with insane levels of armour pen and not getting hit is way better than damage mitigation from armour. For SP or co-op though I prefer maximum possible armour with weight reduction mods applied.

I like to go with epic heavy armor and gliding joints. This way I can climb with the heavy stuff just like I am wearing light armor. To me, it's huge to be able to climb without using up lots of stamina.

If I wear anything else, it is usually light armor with extra plates.
