No hardened leather anymore ? BUG

Great .. a new update ... now I cant produce any hardened leather.
It was always done at the armourers bench...now it says under talents/feats xx_tanners_table (!?)
But it doenst work.

EPIC FAIL! again ....

EDIT: Still trying to get this to work. no fun at all. Need a new building to create new space .... just cancelled my server subscription and will go for some fun elsewhere.

Tan the hides at the tanners station and you make the hardened leather and layered fur at the tanners work table. I just constructed the new tanners table and the recipes are on it. If they are not showing up for you, something else is going on. Do you have any mods that you are using that might be conflicting with the latest update?

Of course, if you aren't going to play the game anymore, there is no sense in bothering to see, I guess.

Like I mentioned in my first post ... xx_tanners_table looks like a placeholder not working properly. And going step by step incl the ingredients wont help. But thanks to Fast Johnny who really wanted to be helpful and explained the process again. My apologies to Fast Johnny for making it hard to cope with my mood after running into this xx_tanner_table deadend.

I really like Conan but this is not the first time the playerbase gets tested.

I am used to the game conventions and gave it a try after the update. But when you try to get it to run on the tanners table and it just don't work it can hardly be my fault. I will redo the server. Perhaps a new installation will fix that.

PS: Just flicking throu the other comments and it looks like I am not the only one having difficulties. Anyway, it just spreads out the same tasks on more stations....when it works. Looks like it will be consuming more time and resources. Probably great for some of the more RP oriented players. Not my cup of tea anymore.

As others pointed out the hardened leather is now crafted in the tanner's bench.

Maybe a mod of yours messing with it? In addition, do you have Exiles Epics unlocked, it is required to craft hardened leather.

Buddy, if you can take a screenshot of your handcraft menu with "tanner" in the search field, we can see what the problem is.

Crafted at: xx_tanners_table is something I see in the tooltip as well but it does not prevent me from crafting hardened leather at the tanner's table.

i ran into this yesterday, i had to pick the table back up and re-place it to make the recipes work.

This is really annoying. Once I picked up the bench i couldnt place where it was..... so I had to put it somewhere else. Even so the leather part worked now I am really disappointed by some other aspects of the update. There are changes to fishing and the cauldron as well. And I wanted to craft some repair kits ... this is just fücking joke. This is really ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up. But the elevators are still messed up! At least that they didnt change LOL

Nice necro and which table are you trying to find your hardened leather in? It is in the tanner's table if you get the epic armors feat. If it is not there, then maybe one of your mods is causing the issue.

I have to agree with OP's post on Epic Fail. I have through Grandmaster Tanner feats, have placed the 4 items wiki says into in the Tanner's Table (and double checked the items exact wording). Have picked up and put down the Tanner's Table. Do you need a thrall for this? I don't see the recipie for silk, hard leather, and one other thing that Narelle put in a screenshot. I've been trying to puzzle it out for 40 minutes even using wiki, and looking at other guides. And I don't see anything. I'd get a thrall for all my tables eventually, and would happily get one now if needed. I just see no indication anywhere that that is needed. I have to say, being experienced at many survival games, Conan Exiles has a small percentage of requirements that are completely unintuitive relative to other survival games. Probably just needs more tool tips. And the fact that there are bugs in the game, I never know if it's just me (well, more like just the instructions honestly), or a bug. I have no mods btw, and am using default single player settings. I can just spawn the stuff in, but that sort of ruins the game.
