Are certain parts of the map locked by cursed wall unless i own DLC for that area?
Hello everybody,

I bought just the base game on sale a week or two before Siptah was released. I dont own any DLC at all. I've made it to around G9 and H8 on the map, the two lakes. I've also explored a but further north but there is a cursed wall there. I went east to the camp called "The Pocket" but it looks like the cursed wall blocks off the path to the east too (unless you are down on the desert below.

So that just got me to thinking...are there certain parts of the map that are blocked off by the cursed wall if i dont own the DLC for that area?

No, the curse wall is a story friendly way to limit playable area, you're not missing anything. New DLC map is not "attached" to exiled lands at all.

Nope. The cursed wall is just the edge of the map, there is nothing beyond it at all.

All the DLCs are just building set themes. The Isle of Siptah is a totally new map with is seperate from the Exiled Lands and not connected.

Dungeons are actually located in several places behind the cursed wall, the usable map + dungeons are at max size of what unreal engine can handle, so if they expanded further it would cause instability to the game for a lot of people :)

I'm not in a need of a bridge, so no thank you, but I don't have to believe something that I know is a fact ;)

So does it mean that we can't expect the exiled lands map to be expanded because of this? It looks like the current map is not big enough and it's quite empty.

The map won't be expanded because the devs have decided selling pvp map dlc makes them more money than finishing the game they started

it'd be great if removing the bracelet lets us move our chars to back and forth to siptah if we owned the dlc

There are private servers that have playable area beyond the green wall. Some of them run rather large playable areas beyond the green wall in fact. Just saying.
