99.99% of players who claim this about any game (and there are a lot of you), don't even know what "optimizations" means. Not really.
Offline mode was added several months ago.....
Next to nothing has been provided, other then you might be single player (you contradict yourself talking about the server.....). "Lag" can mean a million things (too broad of a definition). "I know my system can handle this" can mean a million things. And to be blunt, if you have only a "small base" and are "lagging" already, you need to be looking at your PC.
Addressing what? Performance? Literally every major patch.....
File a Bug Report at the Conan Exiles Forums and someone will be along to help you. Maybe even Multi.
Well, the first 200 hours or so I played, before I set it aside only to return many months later, I had NO issues with lag, even with a large based stuffed with thralls. Since then my system has improved as I got a new drive and video card. My system plays Hunt: Showdown at 70-90 fps with high graphics and that game is notoriously rough on PCs. Only I return to Conan, have a small base with only a few thralls, and every few hours I get about 10 minutes of lag where my keys are sticky and don't respond in a timely fashion.
I don't know what you mean by saying I contradict myself. I have always played the game by myself is what I meant. So there isn't another player around to increase the chance of lag.
Also, why would Sepermeru be empty of NPC every time I log in after exiting the game while in the area (I have a small camp nearby).
Single player, always online because I have super fast fiber optic cable.
Yeah, that's pretty much it. I'm calling it lag, but basically my character suddenly stops reacting to commands and just freezes. I can still look around, but it's like my character is stuck.
Nope. Not running any mods. Yeah, it seems like a dsync error, which I assumed resulted from lag. I didn't give specifics on my rig because I play more rigorous games without a problem and I played Conan Exiles about a year or so ago without any issue on a worse system. So yeah, I was seeing whether anyone else is having a similar issue, and at least one other person here is having a similar issue and knows it's not a hardware problem on their side.
I find most people have a fair grasp of what it means mate. I would have to respectfully disagree with you on that.
By offline mode you must mean signing in to Steam offline of disconnecting your internet because this game has no true offline mode. You simply host your own server in the background and that's it. Even that doesn't always work properly and you have to sign online in order to fix it. This game has no true offline mode at all what so ever so I'm not sure what you're on about exactly there mate. lol
Actually I would disagree here too. He would need to host a server either on a spare computer or rent one out. The so called SP/CO-OP is a whole hot buggy mess. I rented a server and the game runs almost flawlessly for me. Problem solved.
Which patch exactly? I've neither noticed an increase or a decrease since I started playing in that department. Dude has obviously been playing longer then I have so if he noticed a massive difference and he using the same exact computer as before or better then perhaps logic would dictate that performance has in fact decreased. Just saying. lol
The developers are constantly optimizing the game. These changes are listed in the patch notes, usually as a QOL update.
