Ping of 9999

I run a server that we can direct connect to but the server list shows it as 9999 ping and no one can connect from the list. Anyone have any ideas?

People can connect with comand line args.
Dont know what the correct format is - but u surely can

the point is i dont want them to need to direct connect and be able to use the list

Wondering if anyone has a fix for the 9999 ping issue. My dedicated server comes up in the PVE server list, with a ping of 9999. The direct connect to server shows it is also running but with a very low latency. I cannot join it either way, it always times out. Does anyone have a fix for this?

The 9999 issue only happens to servers that can't be pinged when the server list is being populated. Some connection which is required is being blocked resulting to the server being displayed as ??? / 9999.

@Narelle, thank you! I can't quite figure out what. I did the port forwarding and allowed those through Windows Defender. Any ideas what I'm missing?

did you do 27015 7777 7778 in your router settings also? Did your static ip change with a router reset? Cable internet is not static and changes each time a router is reset or loses power unless you make your own static ip.

my server is on a dedicated server with a firebox and a static IP, nothing changed on my side the server shows a ping of 9999 it used to show up fine on the list

Has anyone got any fixes or ideas on this. Since the Funcom services my server is not accessible from the outside. You can see it on the list with a ??? Age and 9999 Ping. Trying to connect just times out. I can connect on another PC which is on the LAN using direct connect local IP.

Still not able to connect. Dedicated server proggy says ports are accessible, still getting the ??? age and 9999 ping with infinite connecting screen.

Problem occurring with my dedicated server too, works if you direct connect with the IP. Shows 9999 ping and ?? Server age

It's very simple to solve... your modem is not listening to the feedback for some reason on the LAN, so within the game click on direct connection and enter your IPV4 (local IP) followed by ":" and then the number from the port, for example: 192.168.0.64:7777 enter your server password if configured and login.

I have this problem on occasions, too.
Usually I just wait an hour, and check it again.
Only happens sometimes, but it's annoying when it does, and I want to play.
It's NOT my server, but its a favorite that I play on.
CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP US SOLVE THIS ISSUE?
