Went into the game to the mod section and activated them. Restarted the game.
This worked for us with no issues and mods are happily doing their thing with no issues.
Go into your game file directory and find the modslist.txt file open it and delete everything in it then save it. This will wipe out the mod laod list so the game wont try to load mods.
This should get the game running with no mods.
Then you goto the Steam Workshop and unsuscribe form all the mods and resubscribe to the ones that have been updated that you wan to use.
Restart the game you will be able to see the mods you just subscribed to to activate them.
This method worked for us.
Many got broken, even more for the new map. But not all did break.
I just tried that. Including a full system scan for a modlist.txt file. But no such thing. And no mod folder in the .../common/conan exiles/conansandbox folder either. I can see where Steam download the files to, but game is not picking up on those .pak files. Thanks for helping.
It exists somwhere in the folder.
You can try.
Is the baseline, so i guess either something broke or you already deleted it.
You could just try it to manually add the folder with an empty .txt file called "modlist". Wouldn't be too surprised if lacking it causes issues for the game as it looks for something that doesn't exist.
The workshop mods should end up in
steamapps\workshop\content\440900
Maybe wiping it would change things.
Yeah, even a fresh install didn't give me that mod folder. So no idea what is causing it. Even a redownload of all the mods did nothing. So.... who knows. I'll try to manually add it. For now it's 07:25 in the morning and I'm dead tired.
Welp.... that didn't work. And kinda did. What I did was, manually make the Mods folder. Manually make the modlist.txt. Then go into the steam mod folder named 440900 and copy/paste the pak into the .../conansandbox/mods folder. But it seems to work, so it's something. Thanks everyone who tried to help. Ya'll deserve a pat on the shoulder and 1 free bracelet removal.
