Removing unneeded DLC from Feats menu if you haven't bought them.

If you haven't bought any DLCs and play solo and are tired of the DLC cluttering the feats menu I've found a quick way to remove them possibly without errors.

If you go to your Paks folder located - /Conan Exiles\ConanSandbox\Content\Paks and replace the DLC paks (DLC_DLC_Aquilonia, DLC_DLC_Khitai, DLC_DLC_Pict) with another one. I used ForestMushroomsPack as it seemed harmless enough to have multiples of. The DLC will be removed from the Feats menu, and you will gain around 900mb.

I'm not sure if this will cause errors or bugs as I worked it out in about 5 mins and the only testing I did was to make sure the game booted up. If anyone has a better or more efficient way of doing this let me know as I don't really have any idea what I was doing just trying a basic idea.

Also I'm not sure if updates will overwrite the modded files so I would suggest keeping a copy of them and copying them back over after a patch if they get overwritten.

This shouldn't cause any problems in SP, but I wouldn't recommend it if you plan on going MP. Even if you disable DLC from your game, it'll still need to load when other players use DLC content.

That's how world works.
Gaming is a busisness, not charity.
Also, you're forced only if its impossible for you to not have something/be immune to advertisements.

Stop being entitled and you'll stop feeling forced to get cosmetics.

It's not even advertisement's it's just an unfortunate oversight/side effect of having a game that has Dlc and multiplayer with crafting elements.
Is it a problem? Not really just annoying.
Could the devs fix it? Probably but it's hardly a priority with everything else that needs fixing.
So we make do where we can and try not to get too bothered by it, after all it's a minor concern.

The real shame is that someone thinks they are being forced by the mere visual appearance of a virtual image into doing anything.

Removing the DLC content is not a good idea. The reason is that those players that purchased the DLC's can share what they have with other players on a server. You can also pick up items others have made for you when they drop them. Removing the DLC will also remove that content from your game.

Which is why I mentioned using this if you play solo. As there won't be any content/items from other people if you are the only one in your game.

I just wish they make the dlc armor temperature protection more realistically. Hard to imagine some of the scant bikini can protect your from sub zero tundra snowstorms. While other dlc armor which looks like a winter coat helps you with heat in the desert. Wish someone can make a mod that corrects all that.

Where can you get the ForestMushroomsPack. I'm not quite sure where you can find it or where you meant us to take it from and replace the DLC with it, I would like to try this but need that pack tho. Couldn't find it in the workshop.

I don't have the game installed at the moment but if I remember correctly it should be in the Paks folder, If not go the the main Conan Exiles folder and search for mushroom and you should find it.
