I want to leave this little contribution, I don't know what your case is, but this is something that happened to me first with Conan Exiles and then with Fallout 4, I had already given up, but then when I saw that the same thing was happening to me with Fallout 4 I continued investigating and trying.
In my case, before opening the games I had the error 0xc00007b when copying and to correct it I copied the dll files to the root folder of the game, when opening the game it now opened, but when I got to the title screen I had no sound.
Having the C++ components installed and direcX correctly installed and the video drivers updated I should have sound.
After finding out what I was doing (It's not that it's bad) but it was causing a conflict, I cleaned the PC with the command (sfc /scannow) I deleted the dll files from the root folders and replaced them in sysWow and Sys32.
In this way, since everything else was already correct, the games no longer had conflicts and when opening it, there was already sound.
In case anyone has a similar experience.
