Yeah I know that one, that's where I went when I had a base in the desert.
But there is plenty of Brimstone around the underwater geysers to the east so that's cool.
Actually, it's quite good amount of brimstone in the swamp. Swamp not fully mapped yet so even more will probably be found. Only thing that you can't get large amount of is coal.
Swamp is a fun place to have a base in, you can find all resources you need. It all boils down to what type of game play you are looking for.
You can see a marker for the Brimstone Geysers, hand collectible just like sticks would be.
There is easy coal, a nice concentrated supply, if you look on the map for the bedroll, close to the Geysers. The bottom of that bedroll icon, just around there.
Most easily got too by taking the path up from the river, do the U-bend, but instead of turning right through the cliff valley path, carry on around at the same height, staying river side. You'll find a huge batch of coal and Ironstone there.
