Best way to raid a base?

So I watched some older videos on the game and people just wack the sandstone buildings with a steel sword and it blows up in like 4 hits is that still a thing? Or is the only way to raid people is with the explosives and catipult?

Depends on the level of the building. I normally use orbs since they are cheap. If its sandstone a steel pike which takes a while but works and is more concentraded hitting than a steel sword.

This is why I play on PVE Confict server. Where you can kill and rob each other but can not destroy peoples buildings

It takes a lot longer then before, but still, yes it can be done. Orbs are the way to go and easy to farm from NPC's (ever make them yourself)

If you go through the main river of the jungle, you'll find the motherload of volatile glands.
I won't tell you so you'll have to discover this for yourself.

Ya im lvl 35 now and live out in Vietnam I know what spot you are talking about its near a temple really nice for farming orbs

Most servers weapon building damage is 0.01% which means you be beating on that wall a good while before it cracks
The best way is bombs and from my testing the best place to put a bomb is on the roof near the door
If it's a sandstone base it should go down in 1 jar of dragon powder but brick like 6 and harden brick like 10 and takes a while get in all rooms so better bring like 50 or so bombs depending on the base size
