Hanful of insects farming

Is there an easy way to farm those or foraging through bushes the only way to get those?

foraging through bushes is a pretty damn easy thing to do.

For the useless brown insects you have to go through bushes, no other way. You dont really need them for anything though

If you hit bushes with like an axe or pick you sometimes get the bugs. For a while most of the ones I was getting were accidental, I was just farming wood and stone and happened to hit nearby bushes, but was getting a decent number that way because of the AoE.

Well yes, but you get tons of those while farming anyways?

yep, i need a crap ton of them for Derketo orgy potions. I was hoping I could have some sort of insect farm to save me the trouble, but i guess Ill keep on foraging bushes :)

Not nearly enough. Its 10 to make one potion which gives 1 religion token thing. I've been using the stam potions alot and have gone through like 1000 bugs.

Try a sickle with the tool upgrade. I believe it harvests them in greater quantity with the fiber.

Sickle is good, but I believe the axe has a higher chance of giving bugs. This is in my experience, not fact.

Sickle gives more. Axe is better than pick if you haven't reached steel yet (sickle is steel)

Pickaxe (The dual axe and pick one) is the best Ive seen so far. Im getting between 0 and 3 per gather. You also do not get anything but bugs, no fibre no berrys no aloe, nothing else.
I should also mention the not all bushes are alike. The scraggaly ones in the desert are the best Ive seen so far. Berry bushes dont give much.

Hold the E key as you travel and run through bushes. Be sure to stop and empty your inventory every so often so you don't get overencumbered.

Or make lots and lots of twine, which can then be used to make hardened bricks if you're that far into the game...
