Cursor not lining up or too high bug FIX

I just thought id share my findings if anyone was having the same issue i was with the mouse cursor not lining up and having to hover higher for items to highlight. I searched all over the net and couldn't find a fix for this annoying bug until it dawned on me to try "Windowed Fullscreen" If you're having this issue just go into settings and change it from "Fullscreen" to "Windowed Fullscreen" and that will fix the bug.

I can't even set that because the mouse cursor is misaligned. It's driving me crazy.

Navigate to -> C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Conan Exiles\ConanSandbox\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor

Open GameUserSettings.ini

Set FullscreenMode=1 in gameusersettings.ini to set Window Mode

You can also adjust your resolution as necessary within as well.

Thx but after I did that it is windowed witch drives me nuts so is there a way that I can fix the bug and stay fullscreen

Sorry for late reply but it should never be window'd, its not what "fullscreen windowed" does. hope you got it fixed before this message :-)

I actually finally found out what causes this glitch for me. It turns out having my Windows taskbar on top was the root cause of this issue. I was wondering why no other user profiles on my PC had this issue except for mine but then I started to think about differences in profiles and the only thing that came to mind was my taskbar.

I am going to try this @slick min is on the left side of the screen and everything is like 1/2 inch to the right. I moved it to the bottom and will see what happens.

@slick You are an ANGEL. this fixed my problem. So if anyone is reading this and your taskbar is anywhere but the bottom, move it there and try it in Full screen! This worked for me!

That great to hear! It sounds like the game either just relies on default Windows UI settings being where they are or yet another Windows problem. I know the Windows taskbar can sometimes already be a little weird with some programs when it's anywhere that isn't the bottom of the screen.
