Yes, I know that, but since the point of it is to cover the lower body (sorta) and leave the chest bare (which begs the question why the female version has a gigantic metal breastplate) I feel like it would be better suited to the leg slot. especially since it "removes" the leg piece you're wearing.

Would be better, in my opinion, to serve as a leg piece and basically give you the choice if you want to wear a proper top with it or not.

It's also kind of annoying that the female version doesn't let you dye the little loincloth thing.

Oh I see. I wondered how the female parts were dealt with. One thing is I did think it was a neat way to show off the male for once. Plus you can wear anything (even the ugliest stuff) on your legs and it disappears. Like bad underwear day.

What I like is if you wear this with Aquilonian, your toon can be bare-chested and protected to almost the same value. Throw in a Flawless heavy helmet and you're just about equal.

Yeah I could definitely see that working, but it's a nightmare on a female character right now. Instead of the actual, y'know, waistguard thing it gives you a breastplate and a laughably pointless red loincloth that you can't dye (which is bizarre because I know for a fact that the game enables gender-specific dye regions, since that's how it works with the generic Heavy Chestpiece) and nothing else on your lower half besides your boots. Visually there's no reason for it to be removing the leg slot.

You don't need the recipe. It's greyed out but you can still craft it just fine.

The first box dyes the scarab, then dye it again and it dyes the loincloth. Thats how I did it. I used the same dye twice.

Its the same with flawless. But why? its obviously desert armor. Not that it matters what you wear ATM due to the climate bug.

No idea where its at, but wearing a skimpy outfit that gives cold protect is backwards. Thats like wearing a bikini skiing........
