Repair Kit wont work

I cant use Repair kit armor or weapon on any class. Not even on a stone pickaxe. I only can repair with raw materials.

You need to pull the kit onto the item you want to repair(same way as you add arrows to your bow), but you need the recipe to be learnt of the weapon you want to repair, also the repair kit costs much more than to make a complete new item so its very useless.

I did put the kit onto the item, but its says "unable t repair more using this item" Im sorry, english is not my main language. I learned light armor, iron weapons, and 1st tier kit. I cant repair those? i know they cost more. but still.

I just played a little with them so far. The time I tried first with armor it said the same, once my armor got lower in durability , almost broken, the kit worked. It didn't repair it full though just up to a certain point. My thinking is that repair kits only work once the item is below max repair that the level of kit you have can bring it up to. Hope that makes sense.

1st tier kit is the stone stuffs and cloth armor I believe, but never tried the first kit, only the iron one on iron stuffs.

Well, ill try that now. What kind of armor did you use? ive tryed with light armor and iron axes

Like a starter repair kit for example can only repair from broken up to 25% durability but not higher, and it can't repair the item until it is below 25% durability. Numbers are for example, I don't know the actual numbers.

Yeah, kits wont work unless the gear is below the maximum durability value the kit can repair. Each kit has a specific value, the better the kit the higher. The most basic kit will bring the item up to around 20%, the second around 40%, so unless the gear has less durability than this it wont work

Sooo...whats the point of the kits then, if they cost more to make than the item, and you still need the recipe? I dont get it.

I think the point of these kits, its to use less space inventory/weight , on those long journeys. In high grade items should worth the use.

I see, its easier than carrying mats around, makes sense. Been carrying mats around for almost 11 months, I just am so used to it, I never thought of it that way..lol

I used the kits to repair Darfari outfit that i got from a dancer and i dont know the recipe.
