How do I put a full grown horse in a stable?

the stable is only to make the baby horses grown, to make a stable for full grown, the dlc allows you to make parts and construct one by own choice, so caz sorry but your comment is wrong...stable is like a pen but specially for horse only

Yep, The Stable is like the birthing stall for horses IRL.
Also if you've taken animals out of a pen AND placed them you can't put them back, so in that sense stable and pen works the same.
Oh, for RP you build enclosures for any animal - incl horse. Stables build set is good for that. Even comes with an extrawide gate for rhino and elephant.

I see it makes sense that its a birthing stall. I'm glad there is a stables build set at least
