how to repair the hyena armor?
Is it only the repair kits or is there something I need to learn to craft that armor.

You have to collect it from a Armor Stand with a helmet on it. It's a recipe. You can't repair any armors that drop, only crafted ones, that I know of.. I'm new to the game but know about the Hyena armor because I got it the other day.
The stand is in that camp next to Some cages. That the poster above posted.

You can repair dropped armor, if you can craft it.
