I'd avoid the alcohol for warming, personally. Spiced drinks and foods are effective, and mostly cheaper, along with fur armor, and don't have any side effects.

There is a SPICE TEA drink, (dont know how to make it but you can) it essencially looks like a red cup, it requires spices to make and it gives crazy boost to warmth.

Alcohol has no real warming effects, and actually causes you to loose warmth by bringing your core heat to the surface. Bothers me that games and books hang onto this old wisetale.
