whats the best way to farm ichor and brimstone

Prior to the update i could use the Axe and farm a good amount off of spiders and the rock creatures. Now i can barely get any at all, is there a better tool or is this just me thats having this problem?

Not the only one, seems they have revamped the harvested amount of specifics materials , and this is true that ichor and silk are now even harder to farm!

thanks god i'm on PVE and fine with tier 2, + it looks better imo.

if that can help there are brimstones ores at the north west, between the dogs of the desert camp and the set city at the former top of the map ( kind of salt lake area whith white rhinos!)
otherwise just farm rocknoses around that region if you need more brimstones or find a spiders spawning area (there are quite a lot of it and not just in caves, also in open areas)

Ya thats what i think im gonna have to do for brimstone, and as for spiders its gonna suck cuz they got stronger lol. Thanks man

It's gonna be taugh if you're alone ideed.

Try to fine a large amount o black ones (they are the weakest from what i have noticed so far). There are plenty of them right in front of my home down the river underneathh the pirateship, and do you know what? there is also a horde of rocknoses down here. In france we say "d'une pierrre deux coups"! means you'll get brimstone and ichor a the same time if you get there.

The crocodile cave has a ton of brimstone in it last time I was there and quite easy to get.

Harvest spider eggs within spider caves along the western river. This is the fastest way to farm gossamer I know of.

Jou can also cook fish for ichor... shellfish seem to work, 1 ichor for each Cooles shellfish

Yep Yep Yep, they nerfed the rocknoses dropping brimstone. Wonder if they added brimstone deposits anywhere south of the mid Oasis and west of the ship.

I might add that I got brimstone and demon blood from regular imps.

Interesting. I wondered how I got brimstone in the starting zone. I've noticed the crappy drops from the rocknose though.

You can also get Ichor (& oil) by putting fish & putrid meat in the fluid press.

Cooking fish and pressing spoiled meat is the best way for ichor and Brimstone is still pretty much west of the desert in the only spot it's found.

fish traps best for passively gaining ,and producing ichor

Use the fluid press and put putrid meat in it. The fish traps are good for getting hundreds of putrid meat

The Sinners Refuge cave has lots of Brimstone -if you're in that area still. NPCs are easy Exiles.
