Yup, Singleplayer/Co-op mode is capped at 4 players. You can't invite the 5th.
idk why the wiki page said it's capped at 70
Not 100% sure as I've never played co-op. As far as I know co-op is only played in Single Player mode. When you log out of a SP co-op game the game pauses/stops until you log back in. Your co-op followers also have to leave the game.
A dedicated server is separate PC hosting the game through a server program. When you log out of a hosted server game, the game continues to run and all other players stay in the game.
in short gives players more freedom and is more a pain in ass for hosting & modding + have more slots.
