How to capture higher level thralls more easily?

I'm level 24. I have 10 points in strength for the extra concussion damage feat. No access to iron truncheon yet.
I've tried the blunted javelin but it just straight up killed the thrall (no grey bar was shown).
Any chance to capture level 3 and named thralls at this level?

Also I've tried turning up the thrall crafting speed in admin mode but it doesn't seem to do anything? How can I speed up thrall taming speed in single player?

U can build the clubs and increase the blunt dmg with a modifyer - make it much easyer - so unlock the "weapon modifyer" first 3:

In the settings lower Thrall Crafting to 0.5 for half the time or .25 for 1/4 the time or lower.

As for KOing thralls: use a Fighter Thrall and give them a Truncheon as well. Also you can infinite stun lock a enemy by getting them at a corner and just doing a Left Click - Left Click - W combo. Moving resets your combo so you don't have to do the animation lock 3rd strike.

It's honestly so ridiculously easy to level up that not having an iron truncheon today is not a problem. You can have it tomorrow. Just walk around the map for a few hours and visit most marked map sites. That will put you near top level in one log-in.

they must have change this with last patch. last time I checked it takes like 5+ PoI to level up

So for maximum effect I should put the blunt weapon mod on a club or mace? For maximum concussion damage?
