reinforced climbing gear issue

Has anyone else had an issue making the reinforced climbing gear, i have everything needed in the armor bench and it says i dont have light gauntlets. thanks for any input.

Before the patch I had a similar problem with making Epic Armour. The problem was I was using Flawless or Exceptional gauntlets. Seems the receipe wanted regular plain gauntlets.

Are you using non flawless/exceptional light gauntlets?

I used basic quality light gauntlets/boots - but I can't craft reinforced climbing gear too. (Although I have all items for it in the bench.)

Are your light gauntlets in full health? They need to be.

Just crafted, untouched brand new light gauntlets.

Might be a dumb thought, but you have been to the top of finger fang rock and unlocked the mountaineer religion and have the recipe/item showing to craft in the bench?

How can showing it without learning the recipe?

Another thought is that you don't have the right thrall in the bench. Could be you need a specific one or just a high tier one.

I have the recipe, therefore I can craft it (or repair it) - just like in case of the ordinary climbing gear. That is the game's logic.
Is there an armorer thrall who knows those recipes? All of my four armorers are named T4 thralls.
So probably it's a bug.

I am also having the same issue. I have the recipe and and all required items and cannot craft the reinforced climbing gear.

If you look closely when you hover over the recipe, you will see that it takes the light boots (epic) version. Just made my first set. Haven't tested them yet but from what I see, it only gives more durability.

you need the epic light boots

to make reinforced climbing boots you need both armour benches. Make a set of perfected boot and gloves first, then in the first armour bench you can make the reinforced items. This is a several step method and takes time. You need layered silk, star metal, raw hide etc. Have fun!
