So there is a bug, when you place things too close to the walls they can be looted.
In a game from 2016. Wow...
Well, how far do they need to be away from walls then? Because some didnt even touch the wall and were still looted.
Not sure, I'm not a PvPer. But they probably reached through your windows if they weren't touching the wall (just guessing here).
If having stuff stolen is a bummer but you still want to do combat, take a look at PvE-C servers. There aren't any base raiding or looting, but there is PvP during PvP hours (whatever stuff you are wearing can be taken if killed).
Does this also apply to small holes in the wall, that you get when placing the walls wrong?
Maybe? You should be able to experiment with this yourself. Set up a little dummy test site and see if you can interact with your pieces. Or turn your enemy into a buddy and have them give you some pointers.
I just want to see this happen to a Conan Exiles thief one time. That would be amazing.
