Found a lion!
It would seem to be a special spawn in the savannah, first time I see one, it gave me a panther head though ?

Is there anyway to tame it ?

The lion is indeed part of the map, but something I can't figure out is the panther head people keep getting. I've killed it a dozen times, never got a panther head. And I checked in the dev kit, the panther head isn't in the loot tables.

So, are you running any mods so I can figure out that bug report?

As far as taming, I don't think a lion is tameable...yet. There are entries for pet Lions in the data tables, even entries in the admin panel too, but clicking on them doesn't spawn them. So...we'll see.

I wanted a pet lion since I started playing this game! As for the head no idea, no mods, I just butchered it with a steel butcher knife.

I just did it, got pelts and feral flesh, no head.

Got it to reproduce with using specifically the butcher knife but nothing else. Thanks, now I can finally start to figure out why it's doing that ha ha.

Yes, and also about a dozen mods.

Ah ha! Found the bug causing the panther head. Hoo boy, I got a crash course in how all of that kind of stuff works. It shall be fixed in a future patch. Thanks!

Nope, just a amateur modder who loves to learn about this stuff. Funcom is kind enough to listen to all my bug reports I send them when I figure stuff out heh heh.
