The enemy balance passes may have worked TOO hard.
I don't really think the balancing needed to be done at all, personally, but I would imagine a SLIGHT increase in difficulty might be something people wanted, because, y'know, the server settings don't have a setting for that or anything.
Either way, now I just find combat too gruelling and boring to even bother with anymore. It's just become a series of "do 3 full combos, roll backwards, do 3 more full combos, roll back again, do 3 MORE... rinse and repeat.
These difficulty changes have resulted in me having to play single-player now, with my own series of combat-related tweaks and changes, effectively causing me, as well as, assumedly a wealth of other, less vocal players, to have to manually tweak the game back to the way it was before if we intend on having any fun with the game, and even then, playing alone is only a quarter as fun as playing with others.

Please, please reconsider the balance changes. It's difficult, yes, but it's just not fun.

I do think it was too easy before, but the power of NPCs now makes the game not fun to play. I usually don't play with thralls due to the ruleset on the server i play on. But i brought along a t4 fighter the other day to the fields of the dead and he can solo the elites creatures and clear out entire camps by himself no problem. While I'm sitting there in my vitality tank build getting WRECKED if there are 3+ mobs. The fact you can't roll out if you get surrounded is dumb too. And archers are now expert snipers.

I still believe that the white tiger should be an alpha instead of a b0$$
it's the same size as the orange / regular tiger and located in an odd location too...

Make Yog great again is all I can say, gods are nerfed into the ground and rendered useless, sadly. Generally your concern isnt really one. And if you play solo, you can adjust your damage and as you level etc should get better. There are too many aspects to just say - game too hard me no likey. Originally this was intended as PvP game but they pissed off the PvP community since day one and now mostly focus on PvE and single player. They have added tonsa content, but one way to compensate for stupid NPCs is give them more HP.

I don't understand why archers have aimbot. You have to time your dodges perfectly just to get through. You could use a shield, but that kind of screws over players that want to use a two-hander.

There shouldn't be a 1 weapon fits all scenarios. In my opinion, if Archers can counter 2 handed weapon users then it's working as intended. A player can carry a shield and another weapon with them on their hotbar, and switch to 2 hander when they get within range.

I like the new difficulty. The game was way to easy before. Now it finally feels like a proper survival game.

A proper "enemies surviving 6 full-combos and killing you in 2" game, maybe.

Oh I get that, but the player only has so many rolls to try and dodge the arrows. I'd be fine if it was tight and if you mess up a couple rolls your dead. Then, the bow still counters the two-handed user. But as it stands, the bots have too good of aim. There's no refuting that.
