Rain inside house and half shelter.

Hi!
I just noticed this patch today and I was thinking that they still do updates to the game, so will they ever fix the rain inside the houses issue or that you get half shelter even though you are inside your house? Does anyone know? I am just curious to be honest, I do not have such high hopes for this game anymore, just wondering if they have plans to fix such issues or this is just how the game is going to be now forever.

I don't expect this to ever change. Similar to Sandstorms while under water, it's an engine limitation and would require multiple environments inside each Biome or instanced housing. Not to sound rude but if the Devs of Conan could modify the Unreal engine, they would have made their own.

It doesn't rain inside. The wet texture is being applied to all surfaces when it rains causing it to appear wet inside.

No it literally rains inside, also it constantly switches between full shelter and half shelter while you are inside a house.

Well, one thing they could do is to remove the feature to give half shelter or full shelter, and just put either shelter or no shelter, then just put in that when you have the shelter icon you get no rain whatsoever, so just full shelter with all benefits, full stop.
I doubt it is "hard" to do, it is just a matter of wether if they have plans to do it or not. Mostly I am curious as to where the devs stand about it right now, do they even have plans to fix it or they cba.

Are you using any mods? There are certain mods that will cause it to rain inside no matter what.

Other then that, the most common bug is it doesn't rain, but appears wet. And no, despite your claims, this isnt easy to fix.

They are continuing to discuss ways to improve it, the wet issue is the number one voted problem that fans would like to see resolved. They talked about it last dev stream on how they know it's something important to people but that it's incredibly difficult to deal with, but continue to have internal plans and discussions about it.

1st world problem.

So many other things in this game that need a fix, wet texture when it rains is like the last thing i could care about.

There are other problems too, like how you suddenly can't put in ceiling tiles anymore because it bugs out and states placement is blocked or something like that, then you need to remove some tiles, replace them again and hopefully now suddenly it works and sometimes it still doesn't, everyone knows this bug. There are other bugs and issues like this too.

Also, even if it does not rain inside for you, there is still the issue of alternating between half and full shelter while inside the house. Don't try to make it sound like the game does not have bugs and issues, it has lots, my question was mainly if anyone knows if they have plans to fix them or this is the state we have to accept the game in forever. Would be good to know before starting to invest in it heavily or purchasing dlc's thinking the game will be fixed in the future.
