Mounts
I'm a new player. Just bought this yesterday and am very pleased with it overall. But where are the horses and other mounts mystical or otherwise ? This may have been already discussed in this forum. But it would add a lot to the game.

You can't ride your bike in this one sorry. No land speeders or missile boats unless you mod them in for fun, Maybe running over the thralls with some kind of heavy track vehicle has it's appeal to some. It's what games are made of!
At the moment optimisation of the game needs work because you add a few mods and build some extensive buildings and your lagging out and the video card runs hot with the fan's in full cycle. You can tell the game is taxing the video card hard because it gets that high pitch whine sound like a 2 stroke engine on full rev.

You can fly using the Admin panel in single play games.

Handy for building tall structures and placing parts in tricky places.

there is a mod for them but it barley works, and is janky as hell, full of glitches.

Not sure if anybody mentioned it but there was a mod called Beast Master Mounts not sure what happened to it or why it was pulled. But it had mounts animals a magic carpet. And there was a Car at one point like a lambo or something. All pulled. Is it Funcom is gonna release mounts and are working on it even tho they said no. Or was it the mod author that pulled them IDK...

But I have used the mounts mod they worked and we're being improved on. So yes mounts are possible and could be added. Servers could run mounts mods. I play single player tho only. But I would like to know what happened to these mounts mods!!!????

The reason for no mounts is there are problems with traversing the map quickly. So gamebreaking that it would take a big redesign, official mounts are not coming.

Theres was mount mod(WIP) on workshop, but somhow got removed.. ,dont know why.

I am so sick of this excuse, mounts don't need to be anything more than a stamina buff when it comes to moving...

As I've said in the past it doesn't need to provide faster movement, just more if not unlimited stamina... Also and I'm surprised nobody brings this up more often, but mounts could be an interesting addition to PvP.... (As well as perhaps better pack mules than the bearers we can already get in terms of capacity.)
