Its too easy to get too soon.
Obsidian:
Requires a dungeon to learn the recipes
Requires obsidian and steel bars
Requires you to carry said ingredients to the forge
Requires you to fend off mobs and other players at the forge
Requires you to wait and smelt them while fending off
Has low durability and less damage than Serpent-man.
Star metal, a little easier still requires you to go to the cold north and luckily find a node and have explosives on hand. At least it makes good tools.
That way if someone cant get a certain material for some reason or they hate the farming method they can still craft one of the alternatives and keep playing
Star metal from meteorite which falling around snow mountain area.
Flawless from T4 artisan's recipes
Do they Fall or are just there?
E13 and C12 on the map
they random falling around these area
I'm busy with playing in Official server ,Sorry but I hope found someone.
What let me down was once I realized serpent man was top of the line, well, it was kind of pointless to farm others. I was excited to try dragonbone, obsidian, star metal, kill mini bosses for loot. In the end, I kept the first weapon I unknowingly crafted over all these others that took actual work to get.
It might be fine where its at, but the others should be buffed or it really kind of ruins the progression aspect. Both damage and durability. Especially since some of them are rather hard to acquire and maintain.
