Stop the constant FU***** rain!

You are not some little indie developer. Stop working on everything else and just fix the damn weather system so when it starts raining it doesn't go on forever!!! The most interesting regions in the game (for someone that has played desert from day one and is tired of it) are plagged by this.

And you know it is a bug because all you have to do is restart the game and you come back to a clear sky until it starts raining 5 mins after!

Just fix it damn it. How many more posts do you need to understand this is aggravating as hell!

It frustrates me because this happens in my favorite build spot. Literally in every server I go to this bug follows me. I've tried to fix the bug with mods via 'Weather Rebalanced', Stray's Stay's Dry, and one other and none of them work to fix this. I've manually changed this in admin settings on servers in which I have access to it and not much later the same damned thing will happen again. I don't blame them for being dumbfounded by this because I imagine its a physics engine thing, but its honestly aggravating when it deprives you of other weather types. The area I've built in has such beautiful sunny days when they appear, but when the rain arrives it doesn't end.

I even see a related bug on the top listed issues on their trello board. I guess if they figure it out anytime soon then it'll get patched in just as swiftly (I hope).

Agreed it is absolute stupidity that weather is more effected by in which area of the game you are in, rather than any actual weather!

The green belt looked like a great change from the desert ... but it's absolutely wrecked by grey clouds and rain rain rain rain ... ad nausum rain ... 3 months with no reprive
I get that fun com loves their RAIN that MUST Rain through every building so that NO one should be able to avoid the RAIN.

I do play SP so I now play with console active and continuously hit weather condition to 0 time of day to noon .... yeah sunny .. for 5 minutes ... before RAIN ... there should be a way to disable the F'ing rain!

I tried Strays Stay's Dry and preferred the effect that stopped the rain in doors! However that did put a coating on all thralls so that all body parts were smoothed over or blended skin which interferred with character creating.

Any other suggestions for getting rid of rain ... or is the only way to totally leave the wrecked green belt?

Unless I've missed something there are no mods that fix this. I tried Stray's Stay's Dry in conjunction with a mod that removes rain entirely and they used to work together, but neither of them work now.I can't be bothered to rely on console or admin menu and shouldn't have to so it would seem either Funcom must address it or we'll just have to deal with it. I wouldn't mind the rain in the area I build in if it didn't blot out the sun, but thats unavoidable. Rebalanced: Weather was intended for SP and even on SP this does not eliminate rain where I'm at. All other options are shot. I'm not even technically in a green zone. I'm near a shore zone far away from most greenery. This area is supposed to be sunny and hot. No one near me is dressed for this weather.

I honestly loved the Halloween event solely because of the fact that there was no rain and I could actually see at night in the northern forest.

Not sure if it relates but I noticed with the Ghost or Fly mode active once you pass thru any surface such as; the ground, walls, mountian terrain, or NPC's it starts to rain. Even in the desert. But it rains constantly in the jungles to the east... Hope they fix it soon. Still haven't built something there for that reason...

My way of looking at it ... it is a weather condition like the sandstorns that we can turn on or off in settings That is exactly what we should be able to do with the god awful and depressing RAIN.

I stopped playing for 3 months hoping that the RAIN had stopped and it still is raining ... by now all the mountains would have washed away ... give up on RAIN ... NO FUN COM

There is a great mod that keeps the rain out of buildings. More and more servers are using the mods now that there is a better support system.

Zugs trouble is mods break from regular updates or from mod authors not being able to continuosly update their mods over the years .... and the rain is stuck to the ON position!!

When it should only be a maximum of an hour or two per day. Or at least be switchable in settings to remove that weather altogether.

I do use that mod just so my buildings are not wet inside (facepalm). But it still rains outside constantly. There was an old mod that turned off rain but it has been discontinued, and no alternative.
