Personally I think most of the dialogue / monologues we get are just that with no connection to anything else. Like Conan and Razma wanting to go together but never do, regardless what you do. So each time you start the recorded message it plays out exactly the same even though she'll soon be forgetting everything so you better hurry.
I know, it's not very explicite, but still, yes, staff isn't useles.
But in this case with the staff, he actually said something else after I did the first thing he told me to do, so I'm wondering what could get him to drop the next info,
Hm, alright, so I'm gonna go listen to the archivist again, because I think that's who you meant. If not, please elaborate who you mean by "alchemist" ;)
I know the staff isn't useless but I don't know how to trigger his next dialogue option.
Person that's been captured in the staff used to be an alchemist serving priestking until he did something that ended in priestking cursing him into the staff. He tells you that when you use the staff first time.
Speaking of that do any of you know if the final boss has been fixed with the ring of Set?
