An interesting view on how to get bone.

So unless im missing something here, the game is essentialy saying (via the wiki pages) that to get the most bone you have to go and find baby animals and let them die in order to then put them in a fluid press and get blood and bone in higher quantities.

interesting.. Dont get me wrong the alternative is hunting and hoping for a head every time you butcher a fresh kill in the feild but man is this a lill brutal lol.

So again unless i miss my guess, how else am i supposed to get some bone for bonemeal>

Horns, tusks, fangs, and Chitin all return bone meal when run through the grinder.

I usually just use a pick axe on corpses. But you can also find lots of it in chests too

What Kurogo said. You can find several hundred bone in a single day by raiding Darfari camps and chests.

You can also get bones by using breeding pens. You get bones, feather, hide, etc.

chitin was my favorite for the grist mill,, never made the armor that uses it so it was waste other wise.

Harverst the human NPC you kill. They're all skin and bones (and the human flesh is excellent fertilizer)
