How to follow "story"

So im getting used to the mechanics but i dont know where to go to follow any kind of story or lore( i heard that there are notes but i cant find any,only in the startpoint) any tips?

There are lore bits all over the map. You can use an online map to reveal the locations if you want to. I don't know much about some of the new story elements put in, but I know that the neutral city has something involved with some of the story.

I tend to find that exploring the entire map on your own and discovering stuff is far more rewarding then finding a walkthrough (the map exploration in this game is superb), but it's your call on how you feel works best for you.

Thanks for the answer, yep im playing singleplayer just for that ( exploration without interferences lol) but since i did not encounter any lore yet i was a little worried :)

There are a few stories to follow:

Razma, the woman from the intro movie -- you can find her journal entries around the exiled lands before the <data redacted> and then you <data redacted> and <data redacted>.

Begin by either looking up a guide where to find the journal entries, or explore every tiny nook and cranny - the journal pages are easy to miss, so I recommend using the wiki site to find the locations. A few are found where there are campfires that never burn out. The rest are very hard to find, but tell you a good story.

Next, start with your main story -- enter the Dregs and kill the Abysmal Remnant, the story of the remnant is found in the info for it's eyeball, I think. You find the Staff of the Triumvirate from the Remnant.

You need to take the staff somewhere important; follow the journey steps and you will find where and what to do with it. Once it is awakened, talk to it and follow more directions. You'll put the pieces together.

Then there are several journal pages around the lands that tell different stories. Check the highlands, Sepermery, and various old giant-king ruins. Also, the Bragga / Ophie guy journals and emotes you learn.

Lastly, google the entire list of journey step flavor text and use what you read there to connect the dots with all the other stuff to find out exactly what is going on with the Exiled Lands, why there are new bracelets being made, who's making them, and why. :)

Oh, also, there are several voice overs in the Well of Skelos as you proceed through one of the final dungeons of the game. They tell a story.
