Launch without battleye by default?
I like to rightclick my steam icon to launch the last game, but doing that in this game it launches the battleye executable by default, then I have to open the steam client, search the damn game in the list and finally click the launch button so it brings up another window in which I can finally choose to launch the game without this retarded tool.

Is there any parameters to add to the launch so it will launch the game without the tool by default?

I do know I can just rename the executables and switch them, but sometimes the game insists on verifying the files for some buggy reason and then I have to rename and swap them again and it's a bother.

If you're not playing on official servers, uninstall Battleye, problem solved.

Doesn't hurt to have it running when it's not needed. Can't see the issue really. It's not like its taking up any serious resources.

I do not have it installed, and this is exactly the source of the problem.

If I rightclick the steam icon and launch Conan Exiles from the recent played shortcuts available there it will launch the executable that uses the battleye (ConanSandbox_BE.exe) instead of the one that does not use it (ConanSandbox.exe) then it gives an error window saying it could not launch battleye and closes without launching my game.

I don't want to keep renaming the executable and switching it, so I was hoping someone knows a parameter to add to steam launch to disable it launching with the tool permanently.

It wants more access into my computer than I allow programs to have, that by itself would be enough, but on top it makes the game use noticeable more resources from the CPU and glitches when I'm changing the output audio device with Audio Router.

That was a billiant idea, I just tested and it works fine. Thank you.

My screenshots won't appear in the game's community but that is something I don't care about anyway.

Something is wrong with your launch set up then, but I'm not sure what. Wish I could help with that. I've never had Battleeye installed with Conan either and it doesn't try to launch the Battleeye enabled version.

Ever since I first installed it always start with the options window asking me if I want to run the game with battleye or not.
