Taming Foals!!!!

Anyone having problems taming foals in the taming pens? We have caught a few foals and upon placing foals and plant fiber in the taming stable nothing happens. We don't see them going in the crafting Queue.

I've built stable foundations, walls, put gates in and ceilings, but it doesn't seem to do anything? Have I built a stable? I can't seem to do anything with the structure and basically have no options to put my foal in. it's just a building. Anyone else not getting the Stable thing??

Look under your survival feats.... where you find Thrall Taker. You'll find something there which unlocks the structure to build for the foal.

I'm taking a wild guess that it's something really simple you're just overlooking.

I'm having the same issue.
Tried every single troubleshooting step I can think of.

I've unsubbed from all mods -> No dice.
Verified File Integrity -> No dice.
I've started a new save -> No dice.

I uninstalled the entire game, and removed all traces from my system. Then reinstalled the game and started a completely new world again. Still not working.

I don't have the barbarian edition, but I even went as far as removing the various DLC I've purchased, and still... Foals won't tame in stables. I checked to see if I could still tame thralls in a ♥♥♥, and they work. Also checked the animal taming pens... those work. The horse stable, for some inexplicable reason, doesn't. No matter how much plant fiber I fill in the lower area, nor any variety of foal; sturdy, swift or otherwise in the top portion; The Stables won't tame horses in my game. :\

I think some people might be building a stable from stable walls ceilings etc? No that one doesn't work you need the stable that is a craft station and yes it needs to be unlocked.
I think I would of been confused by it if I hadn't watched the Devs stream and saw the new stable crafting station.

I'm using the Stable you build from the Carpenters Workbench. And it acts just like a normal crafting station... only... it doesn't work. Placing a Foal up on the top row and plants on the bottom field doesn't result in any crafting timer you'd expect to see like in the Wheel of Pain or Taming Pens.

Updating my issue -- Found that the setting "Crafting Cost Multiplier" seemed to be the culprit. Apperently it was set very high which (I guess?) made it so requiring more than a full screens worth of plant fiber to trigger the taming timer.

I adjusted the slider after realizing it was set too high, and then took the foal out and back in to the stable, and then it started taming.
